I am honored to have been elected City Councillor at Large Tuesday. I appreciate the effort Councillors Deb DeMaria, Craig Spadafora and David D'Arcangelo all put into a fairly fought election. I look forward to serving with all the incumbent Councillors and new Ward 6 Councillor Dave Camel. I am now settling down after a hectic campaign to begin to focus on the work of governing.

I thank David D'Arcangelo's for his dedication to the people of Malden and to public service, his hard work on the Council and wish him the best in his continuing role at the Office of Disability.

Thanks so much to all the residents of Malden who opened up your doors to my team and I. We heard about dangerous streets from Linden to the Fellsway, the desire for more public input, the need to support for public schools. the dwindling supply of affordable housing family housing amidst a development boom, the inability of some seniors to identify a place to live when their mobility becomes limited.

Thanks so much to the members of Team Winslow, the old friends and family members who helped get the ball rolling in and the new friends who helped us push forward along the way.

I look forward to serving as your Councillor at Large and helping to address these and many other issues so we can get Malden Moving Forward Together.
